Customize Markets Today

  1. Open the market picker from Markets Today.
  2. Search for the active instrument you want to follow.
  3. Replace a slot and use the available order controls to arrange the five selections.
  4. Reset to defaults if you want the starting layout again.

Stocks and Crypto keep separate selections. The Crypto picker stays within crypto. Changing your tiles does not personalize the shared Market Focus recap.

The default Stocks selection includes SPY, QQQ, IWM, BTC, and Gold. Gold uses GLD, an exchange-traded proxy; its displayed price is not the price of an ounce of gold. The Crypto defaults include TOTAL, BTC, ETH, SOL, and HYPE.

Read each tile's timeframe and update information when opening its chart. An unavailable selection keeps its place rather than silently removing a tile.

From Your Watchlist

This card highlights up to five large absolute daily moves in your list. A large loss can appear above a smaller gain. Signal context below a ticker describes TradingAlpha readings, not an AI news explanation for that company's move.

For the whole list and other timeframes, open Watchlist.

US calendar

Releases are chronological and include a recently reported release for context. Read the status and the label beside the number:

Label Meaning
Actual The published result
Forecast An expected value, not the reported result
Previous The prior reading
Awaiting A result has not been received; some events do not publish a numeric actual

Speeches and minutes can remain without a number. An em dash does not mean the event was canceled.

Crypto calendar

Use the Crypto view's calendar for the events it lists. Read event dates and any linked context; an event's presence is not a forecast of price direction. Check the update state before relying on a time-sensitive detail.
