What to look for
Phantom is a separate indicator used for directional context and confluence. Compare its bullish or bearish state with the setup you see in Alpha Trend or the volatility suites.
A bullish micro-trend dot can occur while Phantom remains bearish. That disagreement is information about the tools' different responses; it is not necessarily a rendering error.
Trend transitions
Look for a Phantom transition alongside a developing change in broader market behavior. The original guide illustrates a bottom setup followed by a bullish Phantom change. Keep the order of events visible when reviewing a historical chart.
Divergence and power shifts
Compare the direction of price with Phantom's behavior. A disagreement can prompt closer examination of weakening momentum. It does not establish that a reversal must happen immediately.
Use it as confluence
Start with a named setup, then note whether Phantom agrees, disagrees, or is changing. Combine that with completed price action and your risk plan. Do not assume Phantom's state is included in a Screener condition unless the app explicitly offers that condition.
