Read the colors
| Color | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| Blue | Neutral strength |
| Green | Bullish strength |
| Red | Bearish strength |
| Orange | Extreme strength; direction comes from the surrounding move |
Orange is not always bullish. Check which direction momentum is expanding before using it as confirmation.
Clusters
Several same-color bars close together indicate a sustained pattern rather than an isolated reading. Inspect whether a cluster supports the direction of your underlying reversal, breakout, or continuation setup.
Changes of power
A rapid transition between bullish and bearish readings can indicate shifting momentum. An orange reading within that transition deserves attention, but it does not identify a particular institution or reveal its trades.
Apply it to a setup
- Identify your underlying signal and timeframe.
- Look for Thrust strength in the same direction.
- Distinguish one strong reading from a sustained cluster.
- Check completed price action and your invalidation level.
The guide describes Thrust as participation and momentum context. It is not a live feed of institutional orders.
