Markets and timeframes

Market Supported scan timeframes
Equities 1 hour, 4 hours, 6 hours, daily, weekly, monthly
Crypto 1 hour, 4 hours, 6 hours, daily, weekly, monthly
FX 4 hours, daily, weekly

Monthly is a calendar-month timeframe, not one minute. Available data and signal coverage can differ between instruments. Selecting a timeframe does not make every provider support every asset.

Build a filter combination

Choose a market and timeframe first. Open the filter controls, choose a signal family, and select the conditions you need. Review the active filter chips. Remove a chip or clear the filters to broaden the scan.

The COMBINE control changes how selected signals match. AND requires every selected signal. OR allows any selected signal to match. Start with AND when you want confluence; use OR for a list of alternative setups. Market, timeframe, and other constraints still define the scan's scope.

Different filter groups include trend, bottoms, dot runs, Trackline, squeezes/breakouts, volume, RSI divergence, Thrust, TD9, price, sectors/tags, Stage 2 Breakout, Stage 4 Breakdown, and Recent Trend. Adding required AND conditions narrows the result set; adding OR alternatives can broaden it. Contradictory AND conditions can leave no matches.

Dots can filter the color and length of a run. Trackline compares price with the available high-, medium-, and low-sensitivity tracks. Stage 2 Breakout (S2B) and Stage 4 Breakdown (S4B) provide stage-specific conditions; Recent Trend narrows the recency of a trend change. Read each panel's controls rather than assuming that a recent-trend setting is the same as the persistent Green/Red Bars filters.

Current trend versus a new event

Green Bars (Uptrend) and Red Bars (Downtrend) describe the current confirmed trend. They do not mean “changed color in the last few bars”. Trend confirmation uses two adjacent completed same-color dots; neutral dots interrupt that pair. A confirmed trend persists until an opposite pair confirms.

A signal event and a current condition answer different questions. A row may remain in an uptrend long after the confirming event. Read each condition's label rather than assuming that every scan finds something newly printed.

Developing and confirmed setups

A reversal or bottom signal can appear before its confirmation. A confirmation filter is more specific than selecting the original signal. The app's confirmed condition is a defined scan rule; a trader's separate RSI or Thrust confluence does not automatically set that condition.

A candle that is still forming can change. Compare completed candles and the data's observation time when checking a result on a chart. The screener is refreshed in jobs, not on every tick.

See the individual reversal, top and bottom, and squeeze guides before combining them.

When a scan is too narrow

Remove secondary confirmations first. Check market-data constraints such as price or market cap; an unknown value is not evidence that an asset passes that constraint. Try a broader timeframe or market only when it fits the setup you actually want to study.
